AgentDock with cmux
cmux is the terminal AgentDock was built around. Every Claude Code and Codex session in cmux becomes a dot on the edge of your screen, with its status straight from cmux's own events. Questions and permission prompts land in one Inbox, and AgentDock types your answer into the right pane through cmux's command-line tool, after checking the question is still on screen.
What works in cmux
- ✓See what agents are doing
- ✓Answer questions from the Inbox
- ✓Type replies and ⌥⌥ messages
- ✓Click to go to the agent
Read, answered and typed into directly.
Set it up
- Open cmux › Settings › Automation.
- Set Socket Control Mode to Password.
- That's all: AgentDock uses cmux's own command-line tool, which signs in with that password.
Try AgentDock with cmux
When the trial ends, the status dots and hover card keep working for free; answering from the Inbox, ⌥⌥ messages and the iPhone need a license.
