The AgentDock app has no account, no analytics and no tracking. What your agents are doing stays on your Mac. The few things that leave it are listed below, each with its reason.
Who we are
AgentDock for Mac is made by Ideas All Day Ltd, Sofia, Bulgaria, which is responsible for the data described here. Write to hello@ideasallday.com with any question or request.
What stays on your Mac
- To show your agents, AgentDock reads their status where they run: from cmux, tmux, herdr and your terminals, and from the session files Claude Code and Codex keep in your home folder (
~/.claude,~/.codex). It shows their questions and messages, and types your answers into their terminals when you ask it to. None of this is sent anywhere. - Recaps of finished work are written by Apple's on-device model (Apple Intelligence) and never leave the Mac.
- If you turn on the Claude Code hook (Settings › Agents), AgentDock adds an entry to
~/.claude/settings.json, after keeping a backup of it. Turning the hook off removes the entry. - Your settings are kept in macOS's preferences on your Mac.
What leaves your Mac
- The iPhone page (off unless you turn it on): AgentDock serves a page to devices on your own network, opened with a secret link from Settings. Your agents' status and your answers travel over your network only. If you set up a relay of your own, everything through it is end-to-end encrypted with a key only your Mac and iPhone have.
- Update checks (the version from agentdockapp.com): once a day AgentDock reads the list of releases from GitHub, which sees your IP address as with any web request. Nothing about your Mac is sent.
- License checks (the version from agentdockapp.com): when you activate a license, and from time to time after, AgentDock sends our license server your license key and a label for this Mac made of its model and a short code derived from its hardware ID (for example,
Mac15,3 · 3fa2c1d0). That is how a license works on up to 3 Macs. The labels are stored with your purchase at Stripe. Your Mac's name is never sent. - The Setapp version: Setapp's framework tells Setapp when you use AgentDock (Setapp shares its revenue that way) and Setapp installs its updates. Setapp's privacy policy covers that.
When you buy AgentDock
- AgentDock is sold through Link, a Stripe service, which is the merchant of record: Stripe collects your payment details, name, email address and country under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
- From Stripe we receive your name, email address, country and the state of your purchase. We use them to email you your license key, to send it again when you ask on agentdockapp.com/activate, to keep track of the Macs your license is active on, and to answer you when you write to us.
- The license email goes out through our own mail server and Amazon's email service (Amazon SES), both in the United States.
- We don't sell or share your data, and we don't send marketing email.
This website
agentdockapp.com sets no cookies. It counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which records the page you open, the site that sent you, and your country, browser and type of device, without cookies and without identifying you: it keeps no IP addresses and recognizes a visitor only for the same day. It also counts clicks on the Download and Buy buttons. The Activate page reports only its path, never the license key in its address.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, pages requested) to run and protect it. An email address you enter on the Find your key page is used only to look up your purchase and send the key; it isn't stored.
Where the data is, and for how long
Stripe, Vercel and Amazon may process data in the United States, under the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. The Macs a license is active on are kept with the purchase until you deactivate them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it, and you can complain to a data protection authority (in Bulgaria, the Commission for Personal Data Protection). We use your data to deliver what you bought (your license), to meet legal obligations (tax records) and, for server logs, in our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. Write to hello@ideasallday.com.
